Story
This year University of Sheffield Islamic circle (USIC) is fundraising money to help restore homes in Gaza (Palestine).
Many Gazans live in homes made of scrap wood and metal, that provide inadequate shelter from the weather, have no doors, and no privacy.
With the help of Global Rahma Foundation (GRF), we will be able to provide the needy people with adequate shelter that ensures their comfort and safety. Restoring a single house would cost about £250 on average.
As such if I reach a total of £250 I will be doing a spice challenge with spicy noodles and sauce which combines to a Scoville score of over 1.6 million, a ghost chilli is only 1 million. Th event will be live streamed on twitch and I'll do it without any relief from milk, ice cream, or the likes as long as possible.
For every subsequent £100 raised I will drink or eat a concoction of your choosing. To decide the ingredients donate and comment, first come first serve, and of course it'll be live streamed again.
If there are any other weird and wonderful challenges that I can do to entertain whilst raising money for Gaza be sure to let me know. And most importantly remember that whilst giving helps, the most help that can be given is through du'a and everybody can do the latter.
Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him said:
If anyone relieves a Muslim believer from one of the hardships of this worldly life, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. If anyone makes it easy for the one who is indebted to him (while finding it difficult to repay), Allah will make it easy for him in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah helps His slave as long as he helps his brother.
