Story
8 of us at Itad are taking part in Oxfam's Emergency Challenge 2014, as part of two competing teams. Oxfam will simulate a humanitarian disaster and we must respond. This will involve a full day of grueling physical and mental challenges under time pressure. We will be running up to 20km, cycling, map reading and completing puzzles on a cold (no doubt rainy) day in the middle of a forest. We will have no mobiles, radio or GPS. And we will have to face each other at work on Monday!
Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page for Oxfam. Oxfam is currently responding to disasters in Syria, Gaza, South Sudan, the Central African republic and more. For example, it is providing food, water & sanitation and healthcare to around 350,000 people in Gaza, where this is urgently needed.
Donating through JustGiving is safe – they’ll never sell your details on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money will be sent straight to the charity.
Thank you,
