Story
This summer 2021 Seamus and I are going to undertake a large overland expedition, we want to push ourselves to the extreme and have settled on an expedition from our home in Kent to Istanbul. The first leg of the journey will be a walk from Canterbury to Amsterdam; from here we will jump on our bikes and cycle traversing south east-wards to our goal Istanbul!! Overall the journey is a gruelling 1800 miles, and we aim to complete this in under 6 weeks, this will be by far our most difficult adventure yet and we will do it to raise money for the World Land Trust. We have chosen this charity because we as many other young people today are concerned about the loss of habitat to our planet, we want to spread the word, and raise as much money as possible for this incredibly worthwhile charity!
We need extreme climate activism now!! We hope that this will inspire others to embark on similar journeys, endeavours and adventures! We need to act to save our planet from ourselves, and this is our first big step in playing our part! we hope you also deem this charity a worthwhile cause - go check them out!!
We look forward to starting (July 1st) and will document the journey as we go, we have a bit of training to do now!!
