Story
Like many of us, I was desperate to help - to do something to help the people of Ukraine, but I didn't know what I could do.
I decided to make something. Initially, I thought I'd make brooches to give out in return for donations. And then I realised, more brooches could be made and more raised in donations by creating a tutorial for others to learn how to make them!
After you donate here, you'll automatically receive the URL to join a free mini online course.
There is no minimum donation; give what you can. You can use the instructions to make as many brooches as you like, to raise more funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
NB If you donate again with proceeds from selling brooches to others, please remember to OPT OUT of Gift Aid as you can only claim it on your own donation.
You can tweak the instructions as much as you like, and use the technique as a jumping off point for other creative projects. What's important is your donation (although I hope you enjoy the tutorial as well).
The tutorial is optional: you can donate, and not feel obliged to join in. If you do sign up for it, you’ll be asked for permission to be added to an email list of participants - but this is optional; you can easily say no. It's purely to communicate with you about the tutorial, if necessary. It is not linked to my regular newsletter mailing list in any way, and there is no obligation to join that either.
Thank you for your support.
