Help disabled people become more independent in 2022/23 through Dog A.I.D.'s Pawsitive Future Appeal. Your support will help us 'bounce back' in 2022/23: we aim to raise £50,000, recruit 50 new volunteer dog trainers and reach every county in the UK.

Story

Help me support Dog A.I.D. to 'bounce back' in 2022 through my 50 mile walk from Uphill to Frome - starting on the coast and then a great ridge route through the Mendip Hills and across Somerset to finish close to home.

By supporting my challenge, you will help more disabled people build their independence throughout the UK. Dog A.I.D. plans to 'bounce back' in 2022 into a more PAWsitive Future through raising £50,000, recruiting 50 new volunteer dog trainers and reaching every county in the UK.

As a trustee of Dog A.I.D., I have seen the impact of empowering disabled people to train their own pet dogs to qualify as Assistance Dogs, supported by our amazing volunteers, all professional dog trainers. Assistance Dogs build independence, confidence and help in so many life changing ways.

About the charity

Dog A.I.D. changes lives by enabling physically disabled people across the UK to train their own pets to become qualified assistance dogs, supported by volunteer trainers. These dogs increase independence by helping with practical tasks, building confidence, reducing isolation and the need for care.
