I have been back and forth, through and all around Africa and the continent can't fail to impress! It was in 2004 that I first went with my family to South Africa. Since then i have returned to South Africa...and after a brief break in Britain...back to make my way through Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia and Mali in the north west of the continent. I can't keep away and am still itching to visit the east on another trip.

I also planned to travel to Ghana but given the politically unstable state of some of its neighbours, I never made it)-:I'd love to go back and the Love Ghana charity and the work it does has only served to strengthen that feeling. After finding a bike in a bin the other day, I thought a fitting way to test me, her ('B' the bike!) and how much I adore Africa would be to take part in the 37 mile 10-10-10 cycle. Such a serious cause and catchy sponsored cycle idea. It's simple...pay £10...on 10-10-10...and get at least 10 people to donate £10 too...
