My name is Isla and I am 8 years old. I have been ill with ME for the last two years. ME is really rubbish because I get tired all the time and feel poorly. I would like to be like a normal 8 year old and do lots of fun things but I have to be careful what I do as if I do too much it can make me feel much worse. One small advantage is that I don't have to go to school all day long :D but I do miss out on lots of things at school and I miss seeing my friends.

On the 24th May me and some of my friends are having a daytime sleepover dressed in our onesies as part of The Big Sleep for ME. This is a big fundraising and awareness event helping the charity Invest in ME find a cure. I will sell tickets for the sleepover and every one who comes will have a gift bag full of goodies to take home.
