Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Isla. I am 6 years old. I was born at 31 weeks gestation at a tiny 2lb10oz. If it wasn't for the SCBU at The Great Western Hospital, Swindon and all their amazing staff who knows how things would have turned out for me. I am so grateful to all the staff who cared for me and supported my Mummy and Daddy.
To look after tiny and sick babies like me, SCBU relies on state of the art equipment. When I was tiny my first home was an incubator. SCBU's incubators are getting very old and tired and they need some help raising money to buy some new ones.
It's my turn to give a little back and help raise funds towards new first homes for other babies. Through my Easter holidays I will be learning as many new words to spell as I can! On Saturday 14th April, Mummy will be quizing me on my spellings to see how many I can get correct in a certain amount of time. We will do this via Facebook Live so please tune in to support me. I would be really grateful for any donations towards my Sponsored Spellathon. If you donate, please suggest a word for me to learn too.
