Mission accomplished! Despite perfect conditions on the day, a flat course and being well trained for the race, I had a bit of a tough time. The first half went perfectly to plan and then it all seemed to be a bit of struggle after that which only got tougher as the miles went on. My time of 3.12 is my slowest for four years but it was still a great event and I am so pleased that family and friends helped me to raise so much money for such an important cause. Many, many thanks to all of you that supported me.
