Assalamu alaikum! 

Over the last few days of Ramadan, we (Aneesah, Hazim, Abdur-Rahmaan, Eemaan and Adham) are raising money for our primary school, Islamic Shakhsiyah Foundation. 

Alhamdulillah we have secured a building for the school, however there is still a long way to go for the purchase. During the last 10 nights of Ramadan, the ISF community is asking for donations to ‘Buy a Brick’ for the school with each brick valued at £50. 

The school was set up in 2002 by a group of mothers, (our mum included), who were dedicated towards providing their children with a holistic Islamic education. Alhamdulillah their continuous effort and extraordinary selflessness formed the foundations of an organisation which would run 2 schools, community projects, teacher training and be at the forefront of research in Islamic education for the next 18 years.

This school is truly like no other. We've seen how it helps every child excel not just academically but Islamically too. How true to their word, the teachers here strive to mould the ‘shakhsiyah’ (personality) of their students to create individuals who are confident in their Islamic identity, who can think critically and strive to lead the way, while placing Allah first and foremost in their lives.

Please take a few minutes to make a donation  and to spread the word to friends and family. These donations won’t just be funding a building. They’ll be paving the way to an Islamic education for our future generations and will inshaAllah be an endless source of reward every time the children who go through this school do an act of khayr for years to come.
