Battersea Dogs and Cats Rescue have cared for over 3.1 millions cats and dogs over the years.

Rescue dogs hold such a special place in my heart because of my own rescue dog Maple. Because of Battersea dogs like her have gone from the streets to loving homes. She’s my whole world and I couldn’t imagine not having her in my life. She came to me when she was only 4 months old on a long bus from Romania. Without being adopted she likely would have been put down or ended up back on the streets. 

Dogs and cats are so loving and compared to us have such short lives. Adopting one will give them a life they truly deserve. Battersea not only takes in cats and dogs in need,, but gives them any treatment they might need and a comfortable journey before finding them their forever home.

I am running the London Marathon 2024 in honour of Maple and rescue dogs everywhere. Please help me raise £2,000 for an amazing cause.  

£10 could go towards the vital health check that all animals receive when they arrive.

£25 could give the dogs and cats toys and treats that reduce stress while they're in Battersea’s care.

£50 could give one animal warmth, safety and shelter for a day.
