I am trying to raise money for The Encephalitis Society after almost dying from this illness in November 2010. I was in the Royal Surrey hospital for a month, but thanks to their great treatment I have fully recovered. I was in my GCSE year, and after missing 44 days of school, I still managed to achieve 8A*’s and 3A’s. I will be taking part in the London 10k Run on 8July 2012. I hope to make more people aware of this life-threatening illness. My family will also run with me. Please help me achieve my goal.
