I am so looking forward to this run, because it's my first really big personal challenge and I hope I can make it a big fundraiser too. I only started running a few weeks before the Race for Life in May 2013, having done no running since a few sprints at primary school. I never believed I could be a runner. With the encouragement and support of the Cranleigh Sunflowers, I have progressed from there to running 5k once a week and onto 10k runs.   I am still a long way from being able to run 10 miles, let alone 13 miles, but I am now in training and completely determined to be ready for 13 miles in March. Please do give whatever you can to support the brilliant work of Shooting Star Chase, and to keep me focused on this goal despite the distractions of the worst weather and the warmest bed :-)
