Yes, I really am running the London Marathon and can’t quite believe it myself either!

I first learnt about Plan International through my employer CBRE, who have entered into a 3-year corporate partnership with them to progress a range of initiatives, including helping to provide education to over 135,000 children and tackle child poverty in Sierra Leone.

I was amazed to discover that Plan International have been helping children in some of the world’s poorest countries since 1937, that’s over 80 years of commitment to promoting better life opportunities for children, and specifically girls. Plan International is active in over 70 countries helping children who experience poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination.

So I was honoured (and slightly terrified!) when Plan International invited me to join their UK London Marathon Team 2018.
