Later this year we will both be cycling 500km across Vietnam and Cambodia to raise funds for the amazing charity - The Christie.

Whilst this will be a challeng for David, given I haven't been on a bike for 13 years, this will probably KILL me, so please support us with this and donate what you can to this fantastic cause!

As unfortunate as it is most of you reading this will have been affected one way or another by cancer, and by raising this money and supporting The Christie we are all helping others have a better chance of surviving this terrible illness.

We came to be involved in this fundraising event following the tragic death of one of my colleagues, Elise Roberts. Elise (aged 37) died in October 2010, after battling an extremely aggressive cancer. 

Whilst battling her illness Elise set up www.eliseforlife.org with the aim of raising £1m for The Christie over 3 years.

Since this challenge started our team has raised over £80k, completing various fundraisers and challenges that have seen us committing our free time to this cause. We've been packing bags at supermarkets, standing in the wet outside football matches, organising cake sales, a Halloween party and Corporate fundraisers, trekking the Great Wall of China and now puutting our backsides through hell, spending hours on a bike!!!
