When I was 11 my Dad passed away from bowel cancer age 43, following a 10 month illness. I have always wanted to do a personal challenge and fundraising event in memory of him. So this summer I will be cycling from Lands End to John O Groats, which is a 1,000 mile journey which I'll be starting on the 7th June. I will be supported by my grandparents up to the lakes, who are looking forward to their wine tour of England, and hopefully won't be forgetting to meet me for lunch. From the lakes Mum will be joining me on her bike (which is much fancier than mine) , to finish the journey. All money raised will be going towards "Beating Bowel Cancer".
