Story
Anyone that knows me knows that I'm absolutely obsessed with cats, and have always showered mine with FAR too much love and cuddles they don't really ask for! But it makes me so sad to know that not every cat has that overbearing love all of the time and that's why I'm so excited to be raising money for the Cat's Protection.
This November I will be trekking through the Himilayas in order to raise money for the Cat's Protection rehoming centre in Mitcham. The Mitcham Homing Centre houses around 20 cats and kittens who are looking for new homes. In an average year, the London centres will rehome over 750 cats.
When I saw the trek a few years I wished I was brave enough to sign up, but always told myself it wasn't for me. It would be too difficult, too uncomfortable with all those people I didn't know, and honestly, my biggest fear was (still is ...) the toilet situations I'm going to encounter!!! But already I'm loving the journey of planning my fundraising activites, planning for my trip, and hopefully soon meeting some kitties! So follow my journey for the next year as I raise money for the Cat's Protection!
*All money raised here goes directly to the rehoming centre (the money is sent every week), not towards my trip! I'm paying for that myself*
