Avon Riding Centre, an riding school which offers Riding for the Disabled and non-disabled lessons has had to close due to the Covid-19 crisis.
When open, the Centre works with over 300 people a week, 200 of which are in Riding for the Disabled programme. Research shows horse riding with RDA is not only fun but delivers physical benefits, boosts confidence, improves communication skills and helps participants to build relationships.
To ensure it's future, the Centre needs to raise funds during the time it is closed. Although they are not operating the horses still need caring for, there is the feed costs and routine farrier and veterinary visits to consider. The Centre also has other overheads to pay for, which all currently totals £6,262.41
By choosing to support Avon Riding Centre you are helping to ensure the future of the riders. For some, horse riding offers them an escape, an opportunity to fit in. Help the Centre to reopen. Help ensure they can continue to change lives.
