We love a challenge! And when it’s linked with walking the most beautiful parts of Sussex and benefiting the Friends of Sussex Hospices it’s a no-brainer. The Sussex Hospices Trail is a 200-mile tour round our county, mostly off-road on fields and footpaths. The trail breaks down into 26 individual walks of varying distances and difficulty and Lockdown permitting, we’ve been gradually ticking them off our personal list. We have now met our goal having completed all 26 walks by the end of April. We’re hoping that some of our community, friends and family might like to weigh in with some sponsorship to this fantastic cause. The twelve hospices in Sussex receive very little support from Government and are mostly financed through voluntary donations and events organised by local people.
