Story

Help Rob, Stephen and Paul raise funds for Nerve Tumours UK, a charity dedicated to providing support for families who are affected by Neurofibromatosis.

Neurofibromatosis exists in several forms and can affect people in different ways. It can be something t
hat you’re born with, however people don’t usually notice the signs that they have it until they’re teenagers or older.

People with Neurofibromatosis develop
benign tumours called vestibular schwannomas which grow on nerves. These nerve tumours can cause hearing loss, learning difficulties or mobility problems due to the pressure exerted on key nerves. Some people can develop visible benign tumours on skin nerves.

As of yet there is no cure, however it can make a great difference to a person's life if they are provided with appropriate support.
