'Our Academy Players will be walking/jogging a combined distance of 4000 miles in order to raise money for the charity EACH. It was 40 years ago this year that Ipswich Town FC won the European Cup, so each player will be doing 40 miles during lockdown to celebrate this achievement 40 years ago. Any money which you can spare at these difficult times for this fantastic charity will be greatly appreciated by all. Although we are apart from our friends, and away from our parks, and without our football pitches, and schools, we are moving forwards together'.
