Story
I'm completing 'Walk the Wight My Way' with a group of friends that have helped the event in the previous walks by marshaling checkpoints and back walking the route. As the event isn't taking place the traditional way this year and the hospice still need donations to be able to provide the service they do, we decided to help by trying to doing the walk our own way.
We plan to watch the sunset and the Needles then walk across the island in time to watch it rise at Bembridge. We will be observing social distancing throughout and members of our households will be providing us with transport before and after our challenge.
Without our support, Mountbatten cannot afford to deliver the services they do, as well as meet the needs of the increasing number of people who need care and support. Please help me by making a donation of whatever you can afford. Every penny will make a difference. Mountbatten, and Island people facing death, dying and bereavement, are counting on us!
