WHAT IS LIVE BELOW THE LINE? 

  

From 26th – 30th March 2012 I will be attempting to live below the poverty line for 5 days to better understand the challenges faced by the 1.4 billion people who have no choice to do so and to raise awareness about the realities of extreme poverty. I will have just £1 to spend on food each day  (and yes…cigarettes need to be factored into to that £1!) 

  

  

WHY LIVE BELOW THE LINE?

 

To gain a glimpse into the lives of the 1.4 billion people who have no choice but to live below the live every single day – and have to make £1 cover a lot more than just food…

 

 

WHO ARE RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT?

 

Restless Development (www.restlessdevelopment.org) is the youth led development agency.

Young people are most affected by the persistent problems facing the world.

Poverty is one of the biggest underlying challenges young people face.
