Story
Thanks for supporting our fundraising. Everybody’s lives are touched by cancer either through treatment for the disease themselves or by supporting friends or family members who are affected.
This year we will walk in memory of Kathryn Farrow who walked her first Mighty hike in September 2021, less than 3 months later her cancer returned and Kathryn was so suddenly terminally ill. Her courage, strength, love of life family held Kathryn to June 2022 when her family and friends lost their special loved one.
Invincibles had planned to walk in September 2022 but due to the sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Mighty Hike was postponed to 2023 for Wye Valley.
Kathryn knew treatment was gruelling and that is why the role of Macmillan is so vital. She was passionate and committed to raise funds for Macmillan in so many ways.
So Invincibles will walk for Kathryn and carry her in our hearts and minds always..
Our team members know so many people impacted by cancer and, we will walk also for everyone who is affected by it
