Story
On Sunday 12 March 2023 a team of Invicta staff will be running the Lydd Half Marathon raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. This is a charity which is dear to our hearts following the support the Royal Marsden has provided for many of our students, both past and present. We are also completing this challenge and raising money in memory of one of our former students, Amanda Slann, who sadly lost her battle against leukaemia just over ten years ago. Amanda and her family were supported admirably by the charity when she was seriously ill. For those of us who were lucky enough to work with Amanda, our memories of her mean a lot and always will.
We hope to raise an amazing amount for the Royal Marsden so they can continue such important work.
Thank you for your support.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
