A group of us from Boston Spa Yorkshire, York and Woolton Liverpool are doing the Lake District Mighty Hike on the 20th June – a 26 mile hike along the Ullswater Way from Dalemain House to Lowther Castle. The hike is going to be a big challenge, and we’ll be training hard over the next few months. We have decided to do this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support ;1 in 3 people are affected by Cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support are here to help you find your best way through from the moment of diagnosis, so you’re able to live life as fully as you can. Some of us in the group have experienced cancer either personally or in a loved one and we are very grateful for the support that Macmillan has given us.
