Story

On your marks.... Swimathon is back in 2023

We all know someone who has or will be effected by cancer. We don't have the skills of surgeons or scientists but we do our bit each year as we have done for over 30 years to support Swimathon and it's charities Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

Collectively the Kerr family, under the team brand of THE LAST GASP MARINERS will swim 10,000 metres for charity. You don't need to squeeze into your budgie smugglers or swallow a gallon of pool water in the process, we'll do all of that, but you can do your bit by digging deep and pledging to support our efforts in the pool.

Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, will be involved in Swimathon for the first time.

Marie Curie, the UK’s leading charity for people with any terminal illness and their families, has been Swimathon's charity partner ten times since it launched in 1986 and has raised over £17 million for the charity through the event during that time.

By taking part in the world’s biggest fundraising swimming event you will be fundraising for two incredible causes.

A challenge for everyone. A #SwimForAll
