We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

I am training to run the chester half marathon again in memory of my brother, Steven Price.

The last time I did it was 2017 and it was my first ever half marathon to sign up to. Steven signed up to do it with me to keep me company and for the achievement for himself. Many times he joked "why did I agree to do this" when we were training but he never give up and we did it together 💪

This event means a lot to me, in memory of him. To do the training without him this time is emotionally hard. But I'm determined to do it again, to cross the line again and this time raising money for a charity which is dedicated in prevention of suicide and promotion of positive mental health.

Steven took his own life Novemeber 16th 2021. We, as a family, had no idea that Steven was having these kind of thoughts and so wish that he had been encouraged to reach out to us.

PAPYRUS exists to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives, by shattering the stigma surrounding suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to emotional distress.

I would really appreciate even the smallest donation to encourage me to keep going 🏃‍♀️ to raise money for papyrus 💰 and all in memory of my wonderful little brother, Steven Price 💙
