We help and support people with vasculitis to improve outcomes for vasculitis patients

Story

This September I will be running the Great North Run, in memory of my dad and raising money and awareness for Vasculitis UK...

(Dad) Sid retired in May 2013 and in February 2014 he was diagnosed with Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA) a rare type of ‘Vasculitis’.

Most types of Vasculitis are rare, and the causes are generally not known. Vasculitis affects people of all ages and sex.

In MPA it is common for the smallest blood vessels (capillaries) of the lungs and kidneys to be damaged leading to reduced kidney function or kidney failure and breathlessness. The disease can damage the blood vessels and cause problems in organs around the body.

Should you wish to make any donations in Sid’s memory to 'Vasculitis UK' please kindly donate.

In 2024 I will also be running the London Virtual Marathon in April, and the Frankfurt Marathon in October - Thank you so much for all the continued support through donations and my running buddies its appreciated XX
