In memory of Maureen Tuffs
St Marys Primrose Hill is a place of wonder a thriving social hub for an incredible range of people, many disadvantaged. Demand for our activities means we need to reimagine and remodel our building, growing the wonder for future generations.

Story

Maureen worshipped at St Mary's for many years and was an active member of the congregation, she led the Sunday school and we would love to help the church grow now in memory of Maureen.

St Marys Primrose Hill is a place of wonder. And by raising the funds to reimagine our building, we want to grow that wonder for everyone in our community, now and in the future. St Marys is a unique London church, whose story really goes back to 1865 when two Hampstead businessmen set up a home for destitute children in Primrose Hill. A group of like-minded people began to gather in the homes small church. As their numbers grew, they worked together to build the brick church on Elsworthy Road that we use today. A burning sense of social justice and purpose has been passed down through the generations of our people since then. We've always had two big principles. Send the church out into our local community, and welcome our community into the church.
