This is my up to date page raising money in memory of our daughter Katie who died on 16th October 2008 aged just 7.

Katie was diagnosed with SMA when she was aged about 18 months. The SMA UK charity (then The Jennifer Trust) have been a source of much help, friendship and support. This is not a large charity with a big name on the high street and it relies heavily on fundraising by the friends and families affected by SMA. Not only do they support families who are living with SMA but they also fund research into cures, drugs and medical innovations that can make a massive difference to so many lives.

Katie was a happy and loving child. She faced many more difficulties in her short life than most of us will ever have to endure. She loved singing, dancing, crafting and bossing us all about. I miss her greatly and think about her every day.
