Story
Hi there!
I am taking part in the Twilight Walk 2020 for Marie Curie.
I am doing this in memory of of my beautiful mummy Kate or ma Kate as I called her, who sadly passed away on 1st May 2020. The lovely nurses and staff at the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast and in the community helped and supported my mummy and my family through our hardest days so this is my small way of saying - Thank you. You will never know how much your support meant to us.
I also want to do this to remember our beautiful mummy in some way. She was the most giving, kind-hearted, thoughtful person and she would do anything if it meant helping someone out. This is for you Mummy. Hopefully this will help someone out.
I would love to reach the target of £180. This provides 9 hours of nursing support. I know this would mean so much to someone who needs it in their hardest days.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and your support in this worthy cause!
**Marie Curie are also holding a memory night on Friday 25th September with u105. You can light some lanterns and remember your loved ones who are no longer with us. Me and my family plan on lighting some lanterns for ma Kate and remembering the good times with a cuppa tea!**
