Story

I am raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity because my late wife Anneka was diagnosed and sadly succumbed to a multi forme glioblastoma brain tumour in November 2019. Anneka's life, my future, and the future of our daughter Sienna was changed in an instant as Anneka was taken over by the illness so unbelievably quickly. Anneka, a very fit and active 33 year old, was such an amazing person with a kindness and smile that left a lasting effect on everyone she met. I open this page in her memory, to raise money in her name and to help others that may have to go through a similar fate. Much more needs to be done to help rid the world of cancer and brain tumours and hopefully the money raised on this will help in some way. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer in children and adults under 40, those facts and numbers need to change. X
