Story
On Tuesday 4th April after a short period of time at home and following discharge from hospital, it was decided that, in her best interest and according to her wishes, Hilary was admitted to Myton Hospice. We were all slightly anxious, but within half an hour of her arrival it was clear to all that she looked less anxious and more relaxed. From that point onwards the care and support that we all received was beyond reproach. It is some small consolation to the family that we know Hilary could not have been in a better place during her final days. We have since found out that they need to raise £8.8 million per year, in order to maintain the invaluable service that they provide to patients and families at such a distressing time. We would be extremely grateful if you would make a contribution to the hospice in memory of Hilary.
