Story
Mani was the most fun loving, caring, person you could ever wish to meet. He was the life and soul of every event, and a big Man Utd fan.
In 2018 Mani was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma. He battled for a whole 18months, with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, after this ordeal he got the news we his family had prayed and hoped for, he was cancer free.
That year 2020 just so happend to be lockdown and just as covid rules began easing a year later in 2021 Mani began getting back pain, little did he know then that this back pain would ultimately paralyse him and be the start of another huge battle.
The cancer was back and had spread and as it went undetected, it paralysed him.
After the initial shock and trauma, Mani’s fighting spirit was back, he adjusted to life at home having round the clock carers coming into look after. Can you imagine been 36 years old and having carers, wash and dress you.
Mani had bad days understandably, but never gave up the hope that every new treatment he started would work.
His new life being bed bound made having treatment and dealing with all the side affects even harder, but he never lost his fighting spirit, and he was in and out of hospital for treatments or with infections more or less every other week.
18 months after been paralysed and the cancer returning, it began spreading more and more, and we received the dreaded news in november 2022, After a 4 year battle, Mani’s fight was over.
Mani sadly passed away last year aged 38.
As a family our wish is to carry on Manis fighting spirit and help raise as much funds for Sarcoma UK, in hope that no one else has to go through what our Mani did.
Mani’s Legacy will live on……..
