Somewhere between watching the Olympics and 'BodyShock - Half Ton Man', I signed up to do the Great North Run. I now regret that decision. However, I now have to complete this epic half marathon and in doing so I hope to raise £300 for a fantastic charity, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children aged 3 - 17 with life threatening illnesses. I'd really appriciate any sponsorship, whether it's for completing it in under 3 hours (ha!), for managing to go back to work the next day for the start of 12 relentless days in a row on the ward, or for wearing this hot t-shirt around Leeds for the next month, (and for ever after if you're really lucky)
