Story
Our beloved Indi died suddenly in July 2016, and is greatly missed by us all. Indi was a fervent supporter of Amnesty International - He made a regular donation to them every month, was actively involved in demonstrations, and signed their petitions, to raise awareness of human rights issues and bring about positive social change around the world. Indi's own lifelong values of promoting social justice, kindness and a generous love for all people align with those of Amnesty International.
Indi loved running, so his loved ones will be tackling two running challenges in 2017 to raise awareness and money for this fund. Dave and Jim will be running the Southend Marathon on 12th March, and a team of 35 of Indi's friends and family will be running the Sheffield Half Marathon on 9th April - the same race that Indi ran a decade before, in 2007, when he lived there.
Mark and Debbie will also be raising money for this fund whilst marking both their 60th birthdays in 2017, by cycling the full length of Great Britain! They aim to cycle a 1094-mile route from Lands End to John O'Groats in just 22 days.
We know that Indi would be proud that his memory will live through the work of Amnesty International.
