Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I've learned 2 things since accepting this challenge when the lovely Eleanor suggested (in jest) that we do it.
1) That there is such a challenge as a 100km trek from London to Brighton (which some people run *crazy*).
And...
2) That there is an extraordinary volunteer-run charity, the Ann Conroy Trust (in fact the only UK-based charity), which supports the rare conditions Syringomyelia & Arnold Chiari Malformation (ACM).
I would have never heard of either of these 2 things if it wasn't for my fellow bellydancer Eleanor, whose little sister was diagnosed with ACM as a teenager. It is her story (please see Eleanor's page) that has inspired me to walk 100km for the Ann Conroy Trust.
Please help me support such a worthy cause, your donation will make a real difference for those living with ACM.
Of course embarrassing photos and graphic descriptions of pain will follow as I embark on this mammoth of walks at the end of May.
