Story
For the last three years, LandAid, the property industry charity, has asked the property industry to come together to spend one night outside to help end youth homelessness. This year, given the current pandemic and lockdown restrictions, LandAid is asking property professionals across the country to replicate this night in their own homes and SleepOut At Home on Thursday 11 March. Instead of sleeping next to hundreds of others, they are asking us to do this in the socially distanced safety of our own homes - but anywhere where you wouldn't usually sleep (think bathtub, floor, in the dog bed). The more uncomfortable the better!
As a flex office provider with multiple sites across the country, and a combined experience of over 50 years in the commercial property industry – we couldn’t think of a charity more relevant to us and the type of change we want to see in the world.
After a year of being instructed to stay at home, we appreciate how fortunate we are to have the ability to do so, when so many others don’t have the luxury of a roof over their heads. This is why incspaces staff members from all departments will be participating in the Sleep Out at Home night. From gardens to baths, we will be making ourselves as uncomfortable as possible to help raise awareness for the harsh reality many young people face every single night on the streets.
Please, donate generously and join us in one terrible nights sleep on March 11th whilst we Sleep Out at Home. You can read more from LandAid and the remarkable work they do on their website, here https://www.landaid.org/events/sleepout-landaid-0
