Cure Leukaemia's London 2 Paris returns in 2023 for another fantastic 4-days of cycling, and this year is set to be our biggest year EVER and is an incredible experience!

Story

In June 2023 I will be taking part in the #cureleukaemia London to Paris cycle ride including riding from my home in St Helens to London the day before then followed up by my first Ultra Cycle Race in July where i will tackle 1500 miles and 80000ft of accent from St Malo in Brittany to Llandudno in North Wales fully unsupported along with the personal challenges both events will have it my way of giving support to the many patents, doctors and nurses who fight a condition that has and will continue to touch so many people lives until research can control it and beat Leukaemia.

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
