Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
A little bit about us and why we're doing this!
Both of us have known people affected by cancer so we thought the best way to stick two fingers up at this dreadful disease was to raise a shedload of money and trek the Inca Trail!
We know we could have done something a little less energetic (such as a very relaxing coffee morning!) but we thought this was a great way to raise a really big amount of money in one go and see one of the seven wonders of the new world at the same time!
So we have nearly exactly one year to raise this astonishingly (and rather dauntingly) large amount of money and we will be doing some weird and wonderful things to do it. We will keep you up to date and let you know how you can help us.
But if you are able to donate any amount to help us, we would be so incredibly grateful and Macmillan will be able to continue to offer help and support to those who need it.
We have had a massive support from Barclaycard who have pledged to match funds from some of our events including our Zumbathon and Masquerade Ball.
Krassy Bell from Barclaycard came to our Zumbathon on 7th August 2011 and helped out and we managed to raise £750. Thank you Krassy!!
Thank you also to Krassy Bell, Faisal Jafri, Helen Campbell and Stacey French (all from Barclaycard!) for helping to run the Masquerade Ball on 21st October 2011 and helping to raise £3000.
Thank you so much!
