In memory of Zainab

In honour of the passing of our grandmother, who passed away on 9th April 2021, we would like to raise funds for a community water well in Pakistan.
Access to clean water can transform the lives of a whole community. Community water wells can serve more than 1,000 people. They are often located in arid areas where water is particularly scarce.
The wells are wide and deep, making them dependable during all seasons. These water wells provide enough clean water for families, livestock and crops.
It is in honour of our Dadi Ami's passing that we would like to bring clean and sanitised water to those who do not have the basic amenities that we often take for granted, and we ask you to donate the best of charities in her name.
Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?”
The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Yes."
I said, "Which charity is best?"
The Prophet said, '"A drink of water.” [Nasai]
We ask you to donate generously to benefit yourself foremostly and keep our beloved Dadi Ami in your prayers, asking Allah to forgive her; raise her station among those who are rightly-guided; and take good care of her family that she has left behind. To make her grave spacious, and put light therein for her. Ameen.
‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)
