Sarah's 10k challenge!

Herts 10k 2017 · 8 October 2017 ·
In May 2016 my Dad sadly passed away. Since that time I've wanted to find a way of raising money to say thank you to all the nurses who helped my Dad and family during his illness and final weeks. I also wanted to challenge myself. I have never been a great runner - I was nearly always last in school races! So running a 10k is definitely a challenge for me (and something I can tick off my bucket list before I'm 40)!
The support we received from Rennie Grove Hospice Care (along with Macmillan, NHS nurses and his carers) was amazing and allowed us to all be together at home in his final days, which was my Dad's wish. For this we will be forever grateful. This is my way of saying thank you and helping them continue their wonderful service to the local community.
Thank you for your support.
