Night To Remember - a midnight walk: 15 Mile Walk · 10 September 2022 ·

This is a special opportunity for people to come together and walk through the night in memory of a loved one whilst raising funds to support other bereaved families at Kingston Hospital.

Story

This walk is in memory of my Dad and best friend - Aslam Mussa. He was diagnosed with biliary tract cancer in March 2021 and sadly lost his battle in December the same year. I’m taking part in this walk with my Dad’s wonderful colleagues at Kingston Hospital to raise money for the hospital charity to continue to help bereaved families and purchase specialist clinical equipment in his name.Dad worked (and ultimately died) at Kingston hospital, and throughout his career he worked tirelessly to try and improve the service for others. During his last days in hospital, the doctors and nurses who were looking after him all praised his service and dedication to his work, though most of them had never met him and had only heard how wonderful he was through his beloved colleagues. Through raising funds for the hospital charity, we hope to continue Dad’s legacy and improve the service for others.Any donations would be massively appreciated - thank you! 🙏🏽❤️
