I am raising funds in memory of Lesley Hetherington.  She adored all animals great and small.  As a bio scientist, she adored all little insects and bugs and realised their importance to our ecosystems. In honour of her we have chosen the charity Buglife who do a wealth of practical conservation work predominantly within the UK. Their current focus is predominantly on pollinators and freshwater habitats, however as the only custodian of so many invertebrates action is also taken to save species at risk of UK extinction and sites of major importance that are under threat. 

We feel Lesley would be delighted to know that her little bugs will be safe even when she isn't around to protect them.  Please donate what you can.
