Story

Team John Boy members are:- Margaret, Mark, Sharon, Neil, Alli, Daniel, Ethan, Lois, Emmie, Jenny, Alex, Katie and Katelyn.  We are taking part in this years Twilight Walk for Marie Curie Belfast because our darling John lost his courageous fight against Myeloma on 10 December 2022 at the Hospice in Kensington.

John had been in their care for 25 days and we are hoping to raise £100 for every day that he spent at the Hospice in Kensington.  We know this is a lot of money, especially during such hard times but it takes £6,150.00 per day to run the Hospice.  If we can make a small contibution towards those running costs so that another family can benefit from the care at Kensington, and help them at the worst time of their lives it would be amazing.  It would be our very small way of repaying them for the love and care they showed John and all of us, his family, during that time.

Thank you for helping to make sure more people with a terminal illness in and around Belfast, get the care and support they need.
