In Loving Memory of our younger cousin sister Shilu (Yasmin Begum). A very loving, bubbly and kind soul who was always willing to give for charity...you are gone, but you'll never be forgotten.

As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan when deeds are multiplied let’s come together to help raise donations for Shilu who did a lot for charity. Let this deed be one that allows her to receive ongoing rewards in shaa Allah. Shilu was a kind soul. 

The cute bubbly face I remember, the kindness and love she gave to others, the good words that people speak of her. Everyone she met throughout her life has been left with a hole in the hearts as they speak about her and wish they could have been there to protect her. She was surely loved by many

Sadaqah Jariyah is any charity given which continues to have long term and positive effects on a community beyond immediate relief while the continuous deeds gained from the works carried out is given to the one in whose behalf it was done.

This page is a sadaqa jaariya (ongoing charity) for our sister. May Allah SubhanaWaTa'ala accept her amongst the shaheeda, Aameen.

١٧٠  فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
3:170  Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them – that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
