On Friday 25th November, colleagues from IM Properties and IM Group are taking part in St Basils' Big Sleepout at Millennium Point, to support young people who are homeless / at risk of becoming homeless.

St Basils are a local charity that works with young people to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness. They support almost 4000 young people aged 16-25 each year who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness across Birmingham, Coventry, Evesham, Leamington Spa, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the Wyre Forest, and is one of IM Properties’ social value partners on our Peddimore scheme.

The Big Sleepout is St Basils’ signature fundraising event, the oldest and longest running event of its kind, and the aim is to mirror what it’s like for a young person who is homeless by challenging you to ‘sleep out’ on a cold, winter’s night.

To support those taking part and to fundraise on behalf of St Basils, we have set up a Justgiving page which can be found here. The goal is to raise £500, but any donation, no matter the amount, is important - every £5.00 raised houses one vulnerable person for the night.
