We are raising money in memory of our daughter, Imogen Olivia, who was born sleeping on 13th June 2012 but didn't wake up.  It came as a complete shock as we only had 7 weeks to go. We had no idea that something this devastating would happen.

As parents, there is very little that we can do for our precious baby.  Natalie gave birth to her and we arranged a beautiful humanist funeral, but that's all.  We didn't have the opportunity to change her nappy, feed her or settle her in the nursery we painted the weekend before she died.

Imogen is our first born child and was a perfect, beautiful little girl, weighing 4lbs 11.

We are raising money to buy Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport a 'cuddle cot' which keeps stillborn babies cool and allows parents to spend more time with their child.  We only spent 4 hours with Imogen.  However, if there had been a cuddle cot then we could have spent the night with her and could have been able to bring her home. 

We miss Imogen every day and our arms ache that she's not in them.

When Imogen died, the phrase everyone used was 'If there is anything I can do, just let me know'. Well, at the time, there really wasn't anything that anyone could have done to take the pain away. However, now there is.

We need £1500 to buy a cuddle cot.  In addition, we would like to buy the bereavement room in the delivery suite new bed linen, kettle, microwave and other items to help make the traumatic experience that little bit more gentle.  Stepping Hill also needs tiny moses baskets, tiny clothes, memory boxes and photo albums for the parents.  Our target is £2500 as this would buy all of these items as well as the cuddle cot. 

In order to raise this money, we are holding a charity night at Zuri Bar, Hazel Grove in Stockport on 9th February 2013 which promises to be wonderful night.  There will be a band, raffle, food and DJ.
