Missed my last big walk today with señora Flagio :( early morning walks it is then.

On 30th July I will be participating in the 5th Midnight Walk for Women – 26 miles to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth a charity that is not only close to my heart but also to the hearts of many of my friends and neighbours in Salcombe.

Last year, more than two thousand women took part in the Walk for Women, raising a staggering £250,000, a huge achievement for the fourth anniversary of the event which started with just 500 participants in 2007. Events such as these are an essential component to St Luke’s fundraising in order to help achieve the necessary charitable donations of £4 million each year and this year we hope to raise even more money than ever.
